Things I Have Done

I have done SO many things since my separation and plan on doing SO many more! Looking back I’m actually pretty impressed with myself. (Snaps for Megan!)

I will definitely put pics in the gallery of some of my life so you can see how liberated I’ve been. But here is a ‘short’ bullet list of some of the things I’ve done thus far in the last two years.

  • Made new friends

  • Dated around (ladies and gents)

  • Practiced Celibacy

  • Dove into spirituality

  • Tried different career paths

  • Rode my first motorcycle

  • Got new tattoos

  • Read some books

  • Wrote my will (in notary process)

  • Became a ‘gym-rat’ (very briefly)

  • Experimented with my look

  • Re-discovered my love for cooking

  • Started painting again

  • Started up therapy (again)

  • Got better with my boundaries

  • Signed up for some online courses

  • Built up a (small) savings

  • Established a new IEP for my son

  • Worked with doctors and got my son on a new health plan

  • Lost and gained weight

  • Started doing day trips alone

Etc.

I plan on adding A LOT more to this list. But I’m proud of how far I’ve come.

(What should I do next?? Punch a shark!? Arson!? LMK. 🙂)

Boundaries

Ah yes, boundaries. A necessary hurt. Boundaries are an area I’ve always struggled with. And while I know they protect myself and others, that doesn’t mean they don’t hurt. (whatever side you’re on)
